APNA KHET BAGAN FOUNDATION is a Not-For-Profit company, registered under section 8 of the Company Act, 2013 (18 of 2013). We are engaged in the welfare of the farming community and try to make a market linkage between farmers & consumer to supply less chemical/chemical residue free farm fresh products. We are also encouraging farmers to adopt latest technology with GMP (Good Agriculture Practices).
Apna Khet believes in the concept of ‘Farm to Table' model. We strongly believe that an individual, who is consuming food should know, from where it's coming from, how is it grown and who is producing it? For instance, there is family doctor, family hairdresser, family tailor, so, how about a family farmer? Apna Khet is your own family's farmer.
We are providing traditionally hand processed food products, which is not only suitable for the health of our consumer, it is also suitable for the financial health of our rural women, who prepare these products.
At present, we are working in Sitamarhi district of Bihar state. Sitamarhi also known as the birthplace of Goddess Sita. It is a place with rich and productive land, far from the commotion of metro city which is deeply calm and composed.
We are MSME registered organization and having FSSAI license. At present Apna Khet Bagan Foundation is also the member of FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organization).
To change the scenario of the Bihari agriculture, we are looking for some like-minded people, who may openly contribute financially in to our project. Contribution in the building of modern infrastructure will be not only change the financial health of our farmers, it can also be a new business opportunity for our esteemed contributors. They may also claim for tax exemption under section 80G, if they need so.
